What is the difference between thin brick veneer and traditional full-size bricks?
Our thin brick veneers are cut from real kiln-fired clay bricks but are only 1/2 to 3/4 inch thick. This allows for the authentic look and durability of real brick without the need for additional structural support or heavy foundations.
Can I install Old Mill brick products over existing drywall?
Yes, our lightweight brick systems are designed for easy installation over most sound substrates, including interior drywall, cement board, and exterior sheathing, provided the surface is properly prepared according to our installation guides.
How do I calculate how much brick I need for my project?
To determine the quantity needed, calculate the total square footage of your wall area (Length x Height) and subtract any openings like windows or doors. We recommend adding a 10% waste factor to account for cuts and breakage during installation.
What is your shipping policy for heavy masonry products?
Due to the weight of our products, most orders are shipped via LTL (Less Than Truckload) freight on pallets. Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on weight and destination. Residential delivery typically includes lift-gate service.
Do you offer samples of your brick colors?
Absolutely. We highly recommend ordering a sample kit before committing to a full project, as natural clay colors can vary slightly due to the kiln-firing process and screen resolutions.
What is your return policy for overstocked items?
We accept returns on unopened, full boxes of standard stock items within 30 days of delivery. Please note that customers are responsible for return freight costs and a restocking fee may apply.
